Slingshot 57 is a rawkn' Christian rock band out of
Lincoln, IL. They were founded on Nov. 1st , 1999 by
Benjamin Woods, Kirk Bolen, Ross Drennan, Matt Harris, and
last but not least Gabe Rutledge. A bunch of crazy college
students at Lincoln Christian College (http://www.lccs.edu
) these guys are creating a fervor among Christian rock
fans in the Land of Lincoln. Their sound is kinda like
Bleach and Plankeye or the Foo Fighters for you secular
music fans, but yet distinctly their own rock/alternative
sound. Slingshot has already released two independent CD's
of groovy music ( A four song demo and a brand spankn' new
eight song CD.) The first CD (Three Days in Greenville) was
