Dispatch is three: Brad Corrigan, Pete Heimbold and Chad Urmston. Three band mates, three front men. They have been writing, performing and recording together since 1995, when they first began spreading their funk and reggae influenced pop tunes to private academies and colleges throughout the Northeast. The band’s catchy melodies and playful demeanor on stage quickly earned them a tight underground following. Six years later, the east coast continues to embrace this power trio as a college favorite, while word rapidly spreads west. Fans flock to see their live shows, selling out performances in Boston (Fleet Pavilion), New York City (Irving Plaza), Philadelphia (The Electric Factory), Washington DC (9:30 Club), Boulder, CO (The Fox Theatre) and more.

Dispatch has released four albums to date, each on the band’s own label, Bomber Records. Their debut CD, Silent Steeples (Bomber Records, 1996), displays much of the band’s acoustic strength, while their electric follow-up, Bang Bang (Bomber Records, 1997) lays a solid groove throughout all 10 songs. Despite their variances, every Dispatch recording displays the seasoned songwriting, infectious melodies and ambitious three part harmonies that define Dispatch’s signature sound. And while the band’s following is largely underground, the music industry has been watching this growing young group for several years.

The band’s most recent release, Who are We Living For?, debuted at #17 on Billboard’s top selling internet releases in its first week. Rolling Stone Magazine listed it as one of the top ten releases in 2000. Most of the high intensity recording featured on the album was captured at Bearsville Studios (New York), in the presence of their long time producer/engineer Jack Gauthier, with the exception of three tracks recorded at London Bridge Studios (Seattle) with Rick Parashar (Pearl Jam, Blind Melon).

Look for the much anticipated release of Dispatch’s double live disk, Gut The Van (BomberRecords/DCN). In stores November 6, 2001 and mixed by Brett Eliason (Pearl Jam), Gut The Van features live moments from the band’s 2001 performances, plus some classic musical moments and fan favorites from Dispatch’s past.

When people ask me my favorite band, and i say Dispatch, they ask about them. And I tell them, I can't describe it. You must hear it. Some people don't like them, others have fallen in love. Its just one of those things. But for me, Dispatch is a real Utopia. Their music is just so awesome, and I'm glad I was introduced.

Dispatch is absolutly the best band I have ever heard. Listening to thier music and really feeling it really helped me get thru some tough times in the past couple years. I really dont know how 3 amazing people can express so much in such simple songs about everyday life. Everytime I listen to them, it just chills me out and lets me know that everything is gonna be fine....

freakin amazing | Reviewer: jack c | 10/3/2007

i agree with jordan, sickest band ever. so good, and even better in concert. they are amazing musicians and even better people, doing benefit shows no matter where they go. the MSG was the best i have been to, and i expect it to be the best i will ever go to.

sickest band ever | Reviewer: jordan b | 7/31/2007

dispatch is freaking amazing. they don't have one song that is either bad or gets old. i know the band personally and they are three of the greatest people i've ever met. their concerts at madison square garden were THE best concerts i've ever been to (and mind you, i've been to many great ones). even though dispatch broke up, they wont be forgotten.

Dispatch Is the Greatest!! | Reviewer: Robbie Bookshar | 3/30/2007

Dispatch is one of the greatest bands of our time. They have some of the greatest licks, rhymes, and beats and Brad, Chad, and Pete have great chemistry. Every one of there albums was a huge sucees. Every concert that they put on brouhgt imense crouds. It was one of the saddest days next to John Lennon being shot when Dispatch broke up. There are still having a final show July 13-15 2007 in Madison Square Garden New York. The tickets are already sold out!
