Since I've been loving you Lyrics - Led Zeppelin

Review The Song (27)

Working from seven to eleven every night,
It really makes life a drag, I don't think that's right.
I've really been the best, the best of fools, I did what I could, yeah.
'Cause I love you, baby, How I love you, darling, How I love you, baby,
I'm in love with you, girl, little girl.
But baby, Since I've Been Loving You, yeah. I'm about to lose my worried mind, ah, yeah.

Everybody trying to tell me that you didn't mean me no good.
I've been trying, Lord, let me tell you, Let me tell you I really did the best I could.
I've been working from seven to eleven every night, I said It kinda makes my life a drag, drag, drag, drag..
Lord, yeah, that ain't right... no no
Since I've Been Loving You, I'm about to lose my worried mind.

Said I've been crying, yeah, oh my tears they fell like rain,
Don't you hear them, Don't you hear them falling,
Don't you hear them, Don't you hear them falling.

Do you remember mama, when I knocked upon your door?
I said you had the nerve to tell me you didn't want me no more, yeah
I open my front door, I hear my back door slam,
You know I must have one of them new fangled, new fangled back doors man.

I've been working from seven, seven, seven, to eleven every night and It kinda makes my life a drag...
a drag, drag, oh yeah it makes a drag.
Baby, Since I've Been Loving You, I'm about to lose, I'm about lose lose my worried mind.
Just One more, Just One more
Oh yeah, since I've Been Loving You, I'm gonna lose my worried mind.

GOD did you hear that keyboard by JPJ? breathtaking!!!! I wont discuss about Page! The intro tells it all...Its a song not everybody can play, Europe tried to play and they did fine...nobody can do the vocals like Plant..just full of emotions..different octaves... Bonham dear god! the change of beats...the riffs ! its one of the best music created.! LOng live Led Zeppelin! Thank you for this song

Greatest ever rock song? | Reviewer: Ramanan Ravindran | 3/31/12

Stairway to heaven is a lot popular than this song but in my opinion this song is better. The reason being stairway to heaven is a lot more catchier than this song and its more difficult for a average listener to like this song, not to say stairway to heaven is a bad song, it is definitely one of greatest songs ever composed and even then i believe that this song is better and that alone should tell you how great a track since i've been loving you is. Jimmy page lead in this song is simply amazing, nothing but raw emotions in his playing, the guitar solo in this track is mind blowing and is one of the greatest solos ever,Plants vocals are equally good especially his screams which has as we all know inspired many heavy metal bands.John Bonhams drums are brilliant as well and compliments well with the guitar and vocals of this song. Is it the greatest rock song of all time? maybe it is maybe it isnt, its certainly better than songs like (cant get no) satisfaction, hey jude etc that many magazines have voted as among the greatest rock songs ever, its certainly the greatest blues rock song! Long live Led Zep!

from a generally underated album, how can anyone say zep are underated, this band where so together playing off each other perfectly, this is one of many tracks that proves it and that they were probably the best band of all time, the song almost transends music and takes you somewhere within and finding emotions you never knew you had come flooding out, when than happens you've found your soul and anything that does that can't be bad, peace be with all of you.

Zep the best | Reviewer: Steff | 7/15/11

I'm listening to it for the first time. I've like Zeppeling for quite a few time, I'm 23 so I'm still discovering old bands. I'm totally amazed of how incredibly beautiful this song is. It is twisted, as his felling is. The guitar, oh oh my god, undescribable. And the drums of Bonham, is astonishing. I can't believe what Robert Plant does: he can sing a sad song, with sadness and sexiness at the same time. He can transmit desperation and frustration, all with his voice. He has been blessed. Amazing Zeppeling. Congrats guys!

Simply Brutal | Reviewer: George | 10/25/10

Such and expressive and brutal song.

Aside of the great vocals by Robert, that show a man that is frustrated and desperated. Page's guitar follows the vocals with powerful playing. It explodes, gives the sense of floating in frustration and cry.
Just feel how both stab your mind and heart.

My favourite Blues-Rock and love song.

Pure enjoyment | Reviewer: Purple | 8/16/10

It's the most heartbreaking song I know. It mades me cry lots of times. It describes a true sadness and suffering. The way Robert screams... it's chilling. It comes from the entrails, it reflects desperation. I love this song. I love Led Zeppelin.

oh my God! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/25/09

this song is sooooooo expressional....I really can feel this man's pain...Robert Plant really is a great performer not only physically but also in singin....he surely bleeds ;) Dont let me start on the guitar by Page or drumms by Bonham... :O:O:O

perfect jam | Reviewer: chris | 5/15/09

If anyone reading this is an advanced guitarist, this song is in C minor and also incorporates some G minor notes. The main chords during the verse are C minor and F minor and Page also uses some arpeggiated C and F minor chords (similar to the 'Stairway To Heaven' chords). This song has an amazing rythm, so remember to fall back on those tasteful bends in the C minor scale on the G and B strings.

The most emotional song | Reviewer: Ashot | 10/21/08

This is the most emotional love song that has ever been performed. It tells how deep a man can love a woman. You can hear how much tired and despired he is. Each person who is not happy with his love, when listening to that song, sees himself in the hero. You may have a feeling that Zeps really share your pain. And they really do - that was the idea of the song, I think. And if you haven't heard that song yet, then I envy you, cause your discovery of the beauty of that song is still ahead.

oh the emotion.. | Reviewer: ange | 8/8/08

I adore this song. The guitar is brilliant and is nicely complemented by seemingly steady drum beat. This gives the image of the singer swaggering drunkenly as though he's been trying to quench or numb his heartache by turning to the bottle. And after the guitar solo when plant's voice comes back on singing the second last stanza you feel such overwhelming heartbreak and despair in his voice when he wails "baby since I've been loving you I'm about to lose my worried mind."

This is how a blues song is done. Plant is completely into it in the 70's video. You aspiring Blues singers take note. He may act a little feminin, but this is what chicks dig and he knew it. Page, what can I say? The consummate guitar player. How it matched the blues feel like no other guitar player had ever done. This is a must see.

Bollocks | Reviewer: Bill | 8/10/07

The best song ever to be written by man or woman in this bloody universe is of course Simple man, performed by Lynyrd Skynyrd.Whatever you say about this classic Zeppelin song may be true to a point but I think that we should all respect the true inner sense of music, which was actually caught by the southren rock group I just mentioned above.

The Song song | Reviewer: Caleb | 7/19/07

This song means so much to me and more, everyone just has that special song that means something to then for no reason. This just does it, it gets me in the mood... it's that special Zeppelin song. It's possibly the best blues feely song ever.
If you have not heard this song or seen the music video for it on any internet video site I highly suggest you do so.
