I remember this song on the way back in 1985 when I was a little girl | Reviewer: Alyssa
------ About the song Don't You (Forget About Me) performed by Simple Minds

My family and I used to live in Cody, Wyoming on the way back to the 80's' when I was a little girl. The song was played on the radio, VH1 and MTV right before we moved here in May of 1985. That's a great song from the movie 'The Breakfast Club'.

My interpretation is that writer wanted to advise that sometimes we (man) are not acting proprely, and we are used by smart womens ... and later we just looking for excuses like 'hypnotised' states etc...
Maybe I understood it wrongly but I can have my point of view!

------ About the song Theme for Great Cities performed by Simple Minds

Must be one of if not the greatest instrumental of it's era,the sound the feel the life that exudes and more importantly lives within this theme epitomises simple minds as the forerunners of anthemic instrumentals.
