Shindig started life in the 200 capacity World Headquarters
way back in 91 and has grown steadily over the years. It
now resides in the recently refurbished 1350 capacity
Foundation on Melbourne Street in Newcastle.

Hailed as one of the only true house clubs in the country
(winning a Muzik award for Underground Club Of The Year
2001/02) Shindig has always brought in DJs who stick to
their music policy and don't bow to commercial pressure.
This has lead to the likes of Danny Rampling, Roger
Sanchez, Deep Dish, Erick Morillo,Masters At Work and
Derrick Carter requesting appearances while members of the
new breed Danny Howells, Lottie, Steve Lawler,Yousef and
Nic Fanciulli also love the vibe.

The industrial feel really takes you on a trip across the
