It was through a phone call to a friend that I found out that a good friend of my had died late the night before in a motorcycle accident only a block from my work. At first I thought of questioning God as to why this happened, and to someone who had their whole life ahead of him. Then I realized that I may never know why this happened but I'm glad to know that my friend is in heaven and I'll see him again some day. It's the good memories God's love and grace that has got me through this hard time.

I know this is a christian song about how God saves you from petty things like what you want (material things), and the mask we wear pretending everything is okay. I bought this album when I first met my wife. I went through changes. Before this, I drank heavily, and hated everyone. I met her and she re-introduced me to God. I know now that God has a plan. My life was falling apart and I wanted to die. I actually had several beers before I awoke to her calling me on the phone. We were friends but she wanted to consider more. I asked her to marry me that day. We've been together 7 years. This song reminds me of the girl who treated me bad before I met her. All she cared about was money, and earthly wants. My wife loves me for who I am. God loves like that as well. We should all be so fortunate. There is something better out there. God will take you away and put you where you need to be. Sorry to sound preachy, but that's how it was with me.

-these words just hit me because this has been my state for like 5 years now. when Gods convicting me i feel like this and when hes not im content with my fleshly bull crap im struggling through a pornography addiction and latly ive pretty much felt like ive lost all hope questioning my faith and just being all messed up and this song is just such an explanation of me. its not necessarily a saturday but any given day
and i get so bent out of shape and listen to these words:

I love this song because it is deff. Inspired by god. I seen seventh. Day slumber. In dallas in january and it was the first time I heard the song. They gave a testimony of how the song was created and it is just plain moving. Thank you sds for opening up and allowing god to bless us with truth and love. God bless you and keep the music coming
