You also forgot the whole reason why chris made that tribute album... before andrew wood overdosed, he was chris cornell's roomate. You also forgot that soundgarden actually only had 2 full length albums out seeing as though screaming life/fopp was an EP. If you are going to correct someone, please, for your own sake, do it right.

you're missin somethin mr know it all. soundgarden existed before temple of the dog too. that was some kinda tribute album for his dead friend andrew wood

I got to agree with the above, but dude needs to know what he's talking about. Cornell has been in Soundgarden from the Get-go. Temple of the dog was a tribute band that he and Jeff Ament (from hurl jam) and Any Better (aka Eddie "sell out" Vedder) put togther to honor ex-vocalist Andrew Wood of Mother Love Bone who died of a heroin overdose. Soundgarden had 3 albums out before TotD even got together. Just settin it straight. If you really want to hear the shizznit, check out Green River!

Audioslave is phenominal! Lead voclaist Chris Cornell is one of the best vocalist of all time. I loved Chris Cornell when he led Soundgarden and delivered hours of amazing music then. Before that he was in a band called Temple of the Dog, who only had one album, but was fantastic! As for the rest of the guys in Audioslave: Tom Morello on guitars, Brad Wilk on drums, and Tim Commerford on bass...they are all sweet too. After lead singer Zach de La Rocha left Rage Against The Machine,(another band I was very fond of), these guys joined up with the one and only Chris Cor nell to create yet another musical masterpiece....AUDIOSLAVE! Tom Morello is a beast on the guitars, and the rest of the band are great musicians as well! This band rocks and if you dig these guys, I'd suggest you check out Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Rage Against The Machine!!!
