WRONG LYRICS ALL YOU RAP CRITICS OUT THERE | Reviewer: SLIGHTLY ANNOYED BUT LAUGHING ON THE INSIDE | 11/14/09

LOL!! these words are wrong and to the poster who cited them to make his/her point about "a better song being written by a 3rd grader" he doesnt say hes gon go to the mall and go out to eat. he says we DONT go to the mall we DONT go out to eat, all that we ever do is play in the SHEETS. he does not take his girlfriend to the mall to eat on his multi million dollar salary.. the point is that they are so busy being ehem physically initmate, they dont have time for the normal dating conventions.. i wont even bother trying to correct the rest of the errors in these lyrics and frankly my point isnt to say these are the most clever lyrics ever penned by a rap artist HOWEVER these lyrics are so helter skelter it IS indeed laughable, and how are you going to build a case against an artists talent or lack thereof if your foundation (i.e. the lyrics!) are incorrect lol! try again..

The song is a very good parody/pastiche of trippy retro/space age/synthpop/whatever. Okay, Snoop rapping at the end is a cop-out, I'd prefer if he stuck to his guns and just sang all the way, to throw everyone a big curveball.

But the production has one important flaw - the beat is FUCKING SHIT. Listen closely. Yes, just one stupid crappy 808 drum machine. Goddammit. This is so lame, it's ineffable.

I want a Daft Punk remix of this song. Right now.

He take s his date to mall to eat? Now that's PIMP hahaha

While not all rap is bad (I like Public Enemy and Wu-Tang myself), Snoop Dogg's stuff is pretty terrible. Not just that, it's quite odious. Yes, there are loads of songs about sex and sex and music go hand in hand, but you don't have to be 14-y.o. crass about it. I've always found West Coast stuff pretty fucking annoying, and worst of all, nipped and tucked for pop charts. If rap is claiming to be, y'know, the alternative, then it actually needs to broaden its horizons. You'd think Trip-Hop, D'n'B and Grime never happened. Also, Slipknot are one of the worst bands of all time. In fact, I'd go so far as to say S.D.>>>>>>>>Slipknot.

Okay... Let's start...
I think making music is a process in which really have to afford much time and creativity, no matter if you are making Rap or Rock... I don't know why everytime when a rocker analyses Rap he refers to all that comercial rappers... Try to open your mind for rap-tracks that are more lyrical... There's so much work producing a Rap-track, you have to create a Beat, which needs you to have excellent composing skills, and you need a songwriter (which is in most cases you yourself) and you need a producer... There are good Rap and good Rock songs. And there is no real big difference between them... The only thing is that once produced, a Rap-instrumental does not need to be played live on stage again, which is different to rock performers...
'tho there are many rappers that are not just playing their instrumentals with the computer, many (and the number is rising) now have a real Band in the background performing the instrumentals to which they are rapping...

And now a few words according to the Slipknot-Boy...
You say the other people should stop hearing that "mainstream shit"?? Damn... Slipknot is mainstream too!!! They are taking a hell of money for their concerts... Their appereance maybe WAS something special but meanwhile it's just marketing...

So to complete that all I wanna say that all of you have the right to have an own opinion, but can't you just tolerate other peoples opinions and try to accept, that they like this or whichever music?!? Just grow up...

Damn I still have much to say, but I want to hear your reactions on that...

This song is gay. Majority of rap is gay. You people don't know what real music is. In rap, they're either talking about drugs or sex. They don't care about the well being of us, they want us to listen to their song so they can get money. You people who say you 'love' all these artists, need to get a life. Most music artists are shitty people strung out on drugs and gangsters. I have nothing against music artists, but you people who think the world revolves around people like Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent ect. Need to listen to some real music.
