Review about Sea Lion Woman The haunting theme from "The General's Daughter" | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/19/2008 I first heard this song as the haunting theme from "The General's Daughter". I stayed at movie's end to catch the credits, but could not later find any recordings of the artist credited. Turns out the soundtrack version was recorded by an ex slave in a woman's prison, and was later mixed. I found that version very compelling. Feist does an honest rendition that is very powerful, but it somehow lacks the 'trance music' of that woman in the prison.
