Caught up in this madness too blind to see
Woke animal feelings in me
Took over my sense and I lost control
I'll taste your blood tonight
You know I make you wanna scream
You know I make you wanna run from me baby
but know it's too late you've wasted all your time
Relax while you're closing your eyes to me
So warm as I'm setting you free
With your arms by your side there's no struggling
Pleasure's all mine this time
You know I make you wanna scream
You know I make you wanna run from me baby
but know it's too late you've wasted all your time
Cherishing, those feelings pleasuring
Cover me, unwanted clemency
Scream till there's silence
Scream while there's life left, vanishing
Scream from the pleasure unmask your desire
perishing
We've all had a time where we've lost control
We've all had our time to grow
I'm hoping I'm wrong but I know I'm right
I'll hunt again one night
You know I make you wanna scream
You know I make you wanna run from me baby
but know it's too late you've wasted all your time
Cherishing, those feelings pleasuring
Cover me, unwanted clemency
Scream till there's silence
Scream while there's life left, vanishing
Scream from the pleasure unmask your desire
perishing
Some live repressing their instinctive feelings
Protest the way we're built don't point the blame on me
Scream, Scream, Scream the way you would
if I ravaged your body
Scream, Scream, Scream the way you would if I ravaged
your mind
Cherishing, those feelings pleasuring
Cover me, unwanted clemency
Scream till there's silence
Scream while there's life left, vanishing
Scream from the pleasure unmask your desire
perishing

God, you all sound like a bunch of whining 3-year-olds. --; And first of all you idiots, this song has nothing to do with vampires. So go take your Twilight-obsessed asses somewhere else-cause your not wanted/needed here. Second, this song is not about rape, or rough sex, but rather- killing. And according to a recent search i'd done, M. Shadows even states in their "Making of the album" DVD (MVI),"It's like a pleasure through killing." So, there. And WOW, it was so god damn hard to do that to; hit a few keys on the keyboard to do a search to find out what I wanted to know. Tsk-I swear, you people annoy the hell out of me. But I have to agree with you on that last part, Christina ChaOs Great song. Great album. Fucking great band. Now drop your shit and quit complaining you asshats. --;

First off;; Great song. Even better live and in person. The whole album is good. Not like their new-new stuff. (Don't bash. I've been a fan since they first came out. Their new stuff is horrible and that is MY OPINION. Not a fact.)
Secondly;; Who the FUCK said it was about fucking Vampires? Really? Really? Really? ...REALLY? No one said that. At all. The band never said it. Nor did they say it was about murder. All they have said was it was one of their "darker songs". It sure can be IMPLIED it's about murder. But it CAN also be about rape. And hey, even rough sex. Rough sex that went bad or something.
Anywho. Great song. Great album. Fucking great band.
Great song, I love it.
I have to admit it does seem to have a few lines that would be perfect for Twilight. DON'T YELL AT ME. I hate twilight as much as any of you, probably more!! Sappy love stories piss me off,
But it does fit, somewhat. I know the song is NOT about Vampires, but if you had read Twilight, you could see the links between this song and the book/movie, at the beginning. It does represent well what Edward first thought of Bella. I read the book before I judged it, by the way, even though I knew I wouldn't like it. I have been surprised in the past. Maybe you lot should take a lesson from that. . .

although I do agree the song isn't about vampires, I find it REALLY funny to see the "hard core fans" that say this band would never have anything to do with them... have you not seen The Beast and the Harlot video? lol
Rough Sex huh? | Reviewer: Dragon | 9/3/09
Well, at first, that's what it seemed like to me, rough sex. Then I realized, someone was probably getting raped. And if the song writer said that its about the "pleasure" of murder, then I suppose it makes sense according to the lyrics. And being a virgin is not a bad thing, but that also means you probably wouldn't have caught something like that in a song right away either I guess. And it is most definately not about vampires. Vampires are over rated, honestly, and for them to sing about it....probably woldn't be exciting. It would probably be a happy, sparkling in the sunlight song, which would just suck.
Jesus WTF? | Reviewer: ekim | 8/12/09
Seriously Vampires and Rough sex?
Okay twilight is horrible so don't compare an awesome song to that god awful crap.
Rough sex? where do you get off calling these people virgins, I mean they probably are if they follow that twilight chicks philosophy and wait till they marry a gay vampire to pop the cherry, but since when is rough sex about murder. I'm all for choking and pulling hair; hell I'll spank the hell out of her ass if it gets her juices going. This song is about killing someone, that's why I like it, and the band even said so as others have stated here. So if you people are having rough sex and she's indicating to you that she wants to run but you won't let her, then guess what you just raped her, and you're a rapist. Now how does that feel, is it good to be a rapist? Are you Cherishing it? And you vampire freaks; twilight van helsing, dracula, and queen of the damned all sucked. You want real Vamps all you gotta do is Watch 30 Days of Night, or go old school and do the Lost Boys The Two Corey's are the s##t
Everybody Die Now! Let the music take control, Let the rhythm move you.

Whoever started the sh*t about twilight and vampires go back to watching your stupid immature vampire movie and books, this has nothing to do with some pale looking undead kid and his alive girlfriend... I hate twilight so much I can just shoot my nuts off
But enough with the bickering kids. First off, REGARDLESS of whether or not it's about vampires, though it does carry the undertones OF vampires, that doesn't necessarily refer to the sh*t that is Twilight (As I prepare to be flamed). Vampires have captivated the mind for hundreds, even thousands, of years. So lay off the pop culture teeny-bopper bull.
THAT BEING SAID.
As Sammie M. said, the song is - by A7X's own admission, about the pleasure of murder.
Yes, there are strong sexual undertones that coincide with the vampire vibe, but the fact remains, it's about what the band says it is about. So, quit arguing, quit over-analyzing the music, and enjoy it for the amazing music that it is.
Fantastic song, in spite of the apparent controversy surrounding it by those reviewing it. The guitars and vocals are wonderful as always, and the lyrics are definitely something to think on... but not too much.

This song is about delicious rough sex. End of discussion.
This band is way to good to even touch shit like vampires with a 10000000000ft pole. Seriously. Why would you even consider it?
I really don't think it's about rape, or if it is, she doesnt think its rape for very long. lol.
