We are called Say Anything. We have existed since Coby started playing drums over the horrible songs I wrote about girls while attending high school in Los Angeles, California. Being the egomaniacal singer type, I proceeded to kick out and\or drive away pretty much anyone else who joined the band, so there were a ton of lineup changes, yet somehow Coby and I ended up selling a lot of our self released\recorded cd. Soon, all these strange children started to repeatedly attend our live shows and tell their friends More... Look at the lyrics, these people were in the holocaust and had to go through hardship and still made it through. I think this song goes to a deeper level of songwriting though because it isn't your average "sex, drugs and parties" lyrics that todays generation is all about. Unfortunately this generation is all about rythymless rappers who try to get on their so called "swagger." I am so grateful to hear this song because just looking at the lyrics makes my heart slow to only a soft thud and makes me gasp for air. This song can be taken into so many different meanings and that's what song writing is about. And you wanna talk about the guys voice? I think his name is max. His voice is so original and unmistakeable. I reccomend anything by say anything. Even though its risky.. it's worth it. because i love him. and like this song states clearly, i'd walk through hell for him. <3 Life Changing... | Reviewer: Neb ------ About artist/band Say Anything Before I heard the first Say Anything song (and believe me, I was hooked after the first guitar stroke and drum beat), it was hard for me to find music that related to things that go on in my life. Whatever emotion is running through my body at the moment, I can find at least three Say Anything songs to go with it and cheer me up. Max- Amazing lead singer. I've never heard another voice like him before in my life, and it's beautiful. The first time I saw him in person, which was just last night, I was in shock. All six of these men are my heros.. Max was the first one I saw.. I cried at the sight of him. I was so happy that I was actually looking at one of my heros. And he does try to show the audience that "we are one".. I made eye contact with him more than once. Parker-Amazing keyboardist and vocalist. I've said for a long time that this kid could do great things with his voice. Every song that he sings in it almost makes me want to cry. He's such a cutie, too. Jeff and Jacob-They're adorable for starters... They are amazing guitar players.. If anything happened to Say Anything (Moses, Jesus, Allah lets hope nothing does..) they will go far. They're other project is amazing as well. Alex-Love that kid... The bass is the heart of a song.. The bassist is the one who needs to give it the heartbeat... He does just that. I love their bass lines. Coby- Dawww. Drummer! With the exception of a few songs, what song is a song without a drumbeat? It makes every song better.. And he's just so darn cute. After the sweet, sweet music of Say Anything entered my ear canal, my life changed... I started waking up to a brighter day, feeling better about myself, speaking up for things I beleive in, and I became less judgemental... Thank you Max, Parker, Jeff, Alex, Jacob, and Coby. I hope you guys enjoyed the dinosaurs that I bought for you in Covington. Love you guys, keep doing what you're doing and please, please please keep the crew that you have right now, because you guys are great!
