One of the earliest of British blues bands, SAVOY
BROWN (with founder guitarist and longtime member Kim
Simmonds at the helm) helped launch the UK blues/rock
movement that paved the way for such acts as Led Zeppelin.

The band recorded their first singles for Mike
Vernon's Purdah label in 1966 and quickly followed up with
the landmark album More...

As i remember in the sixties to early seventies,my brother had this song on one of his record albums.I've always remembered it because of it's lay back kind of quality about it.Care free worry free way about it.the song stuck with me for this reason.As of this day august 12th 2011 friday morning 12;15am ,I am looking up the band for the first tine.have not indulged any further than this note as of yet,but hope to hear that the band members are all well.(A fan)Johnny D.

I never thought I would find the lyrics for Savoy songs. They are a dusty gem, and I love their music. I'm so happy to have found these lyrics so I can now really belt em out in the car.

guitar solos in this song are about as good as it gets. Simmons drives it home, especially in near the end of the solo where he comes in hare charging after the soft Dave Peverett accompaniment. classic and unparalleled.
