Where are those happy days, they seem so hard to find
I try to reach for you, but you have closed your mind
Whatever happened to our love
I wish I understood
It used to be so nice, it used to be so good
So when you're near me, darling can't you hear me
SOS
The love you gave me, nothing else can save me
SOS
When you're gone (when you're gone)
How can I even try to go on
When you're gone (when you're gone)
Though I try how can I carry on
You seem so far away though you are standing near
You made me feel alive, but something died I fear
I really tried to make it out
I wish I understood
What happened to our love, it used to be so good
So when you're near me, darling can't you hear me
SOS
The love you gave me, nothing else can save me
SOS
When you're gone (when your gone)
How can I even try to go on
When you're gone (when your gone)
Though I try how can I carry on
So when you're near me, darling can't you hear me
SOS
And the love you gave me, nothing else can save me
SOS
When you're gone (when you're gone)
How can I even try to go on
When you're gone (when you're gone)
Though I try how can I carry on
When you're gone (when you're gone)
How can I even try to go on
When you're gone (when your gone)
Though I try how can I carry on

Review about SOS japan movie | Reviewer: fani anggaerdia | 10/26/09
first i hear this song when i was junior high school (1999), this song is one of original soundtrack from japan movie, the title is SOS(Strawberry on the Shortcake). except SOS the other song is chiquqita. i love both of that song,,,,
many tmes i play the song, more i love it
I first heard this song back in 1975, when I was 26 years old and a graduate student in the Master of Fine Arts Program at Wichita State University.
Now -- at age 60 -- I hear this "Golden Oldie" song on the radio at least once a week...sometimes twice...and it always brings back a wash of memories: my three-day car trip out to Kansas...all the fascinating people I met...the tours I took around the midwest...the good times I had...a girl named Sue (you get the idea).
I don't know entirely why...perhaps the reason is buried in my subcortex somewhere...but I think SOS by Abba (both the melody and the lyrics) is one of the most wonderful songs I've ever heard -- definitely my TOP SONG of the seventies -- even 34 years later.
I think that says a lot!
