Ryan Cabrera is a singer/songwriter. He was born and raised in Dallas, TX. His debut album Take It All Away entered the Billboard 200 Album charts at #8. It's co-produced by Ryan along with John Rzeznik (of The Goo Goo Dolls).

Ryan began writing and playing guitar from a very young age. He is no stranger to performing, as he opened and headlined at numerous premiere venues in Dallas, while still only in high school. Ryan opened for such bands as Sister Hazel, Nine Days, Wheatus, Dexter Freebish, and The Pat McGee Band. This soon spawned more extensive touring across the US. In pursuit of his musical career, Ryan left college behind and moved to LA a year ago.

Ryan landed a deal at EMI Music Publishing and a recording contract on E.V.L.A/Atlantic Records shortly thereafter. He began collaborating for his album with high-profile EMI writers such as Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams), Kara Dioguardi (Enrique Iglesias, Celine Dion), Jimmy Harry (Kelly Clarkson) and John Rzeznik.

The 1st single off of Cabrera's album "On The Way Down" goes to Top 40 and Hot AC radio on May 17th 2004. The song's video features actress and Geffen/Interscope recording artist Ashlee Simpson (who stars in the WB network hit series 7th Heaven). Ryan is managed by Joe Simpson (Jessica Simpson and Ashlee's father).

The grassroots word of mouth buzz continues to grow as the Aware Marketing street team (who marketed and broke John Mayer and Jason Mraz) have been brought on to work Ryan's project. Most recently Ryan has been slated as the opening act for Jewel, who will be touring from May-July.

You will also find Ryan featured in the April issue of Seventeen, Popstar Magazine's May issue, and in Teen People, Acoustic Guitar World, M Magazine, Performing Songwriter and BOP in June. Ryan will be again featured in July's issues of Seventeen and YM magazine with more to follow shortly.

i just like to say ryan your kinda cute. but you have a heart-stopping, breathe-taking, mind-blowing voice. i mean i feel so relaxed when you sing. it's like im about to melt. you should try out for acting, you'd probally be really good at it. but i really hope and wish you read this message ryan cabrera, because you might think im just a crazy fan, but when i hear you all the thunder clouds go away and im left with the sun, sky, and you!

Ryan Cabrera has the best songs! In Australia we don't have his album so it's pretty hard to get his songs. Whenever I ask anyone I know if they know Ryan Cabrera, they really don't coz he has never been on our crappy charts.

On the Ashlee Simpson show Ryan Cabrera seemed like the sweetest guy. He always seemed like he understood everyone and he is really cute. His music is just awesome. I love every one of his songs so much and i think that he has so much talent and i love song "true" it really reaches inside you and makes you realize how good his songs are. He is really awesome.

This guy is just amazing!!! When I first saw "The Ashlee Simpson Show" on MTV, I thought: Who the hell is this cutie?! Then I made my research on the internet and I found him: Ryan Cabrera!!! Now, I have all his music and it's just... wow... There are no words to describe those songs... I really love all of them!!! Maybe I'm the first German girl, that really likes him and his music... But, he's just an amazing artist!
I'd really like to make music with him. Dude, he rocks!!!

The first time I saw this dude, I was like, hes going out with Ashley simpson, hes so retarted, but then I heard his song, "on my Way down" and I fell in LOVE with his music. See- qt my school everyone only likes things like linkin park, blink182, all that stuff. but now a lot of people like Ryan Cabrera. He is AMAZING
