------ About the album Body Wishes performed by Rod Stewart

Body Wishes is one my favorite Rod Stewart albums. Top 8 for sure and "Baby Jane" in my opinion is Rod's best single of that decade even though the American charts wouldn't agree. Songs like "Sweet Surrender" and "Strangers Again" are hidden gems from one of the greatest artists ever. What Am I Gonna Do (I'm so in love with you) is a great tune as well. This website reports that Body Wishes was released in 1993 when it was actually released in 1983.

------ About the album Never A Dull Moment performed by Rod Stewart

This was essentially (as were all RS albums of the early seventies)a Faces album. Songs such as "Angel" and "I'd rather go blind" were staples in the Faces live set and Rod's backing band on the record was the faces.
'You Wear It Well" is almost a hybrid of the previous years "Maggie May" but to this day has a charm that many other artists would give everything to create. If you are a Faces fan, it is worth trawling through the first few Rod solo albums because many treasures can be found that compliment The Faces brief album discography. "Twisting the night away" is standard rock and roll fare but still worth a spin. When compared to any album that Rod has released since 1980, this is a Five Star album.

------ About the album Stardust:The Great American Songbook: Volume III performed by Rod Stewart

I loved the entire album, and would like to own it, but I live in the country, and have no record shops in the area, how can you help me? I have all the other song book CDs and have put them on my MP3 player.

------ About the album It Had To Be You--The Great American Songbook performed by Rod Stewart

I think it's great especially some of the tasteful arrangemetns which have been done; some numbers have a warm jazzy feel. And Katja Rieckermann is great on Sax; she has a lovley warm sound on the standards and blows a good rock sound on some of his older rock numbers. I think it's as much a revival as Andre Rieu and his waltzes!(there's also a full orchestra, so the sound is just as good!)
