Sure this is a departure from protocol. That’s what i told
them. There are professionals out there for this sort of
thing, folks that can actually make us sound like decent
human beings. However, i somehow hired myself for the job:
to pen our inaugural band bio. I’m the Robbie Seay portion
of the Robbie Seay band, pretty tricky i know. Countless
hours of soul searching for a good old fashioned band name
produced nothing. My God given name + band is where we
landed. We should have done better.
Yet here we are. After many years of making music,
traveling in toyota corollas and buses, playing for
thousands and groups of 12, and making albums (some pretty
good and some pretty bad), it’s good to be alive. It’s good
to be making music. It’s good to have you join us in More...
I have noticed y'all don't do many videos. I absolutely love your song "New Day" I heard it by Wake Forest Universities acapella group this summer at church camp and have been hooked ever since. At the time I was reading a book by Karen Kingsburg about 9/11 and it just really went together in a way to the story. That song gives me hope about a lot of things: hope, life, love, happily ever after, and faith. It is just so powerful and I would love to see what y'all associate it with.
sincerely,
Mississippi

Robbie, I am not reviewing your new CD. I was jus on the internet and saw your name and wondered if your were the same Robbie I knew about 33 years ago? I used to babysit a cute little blonde headed boy from Atlanta, TX. Could that possibly be you? Or are you related to an Ed and Cindy Seay? He was my youth director and a tremendous influence on my life. I will get your new Cd and listen to it. I am curious about it. I have four children between the ages of 14-21 and they love Christian music. If you get a chance please let me know. Thanks, Cheryl Neal We live in Phoenix, AZ I will try to make your concert with David Crowder!
