I have just recently fallen in love with this band by pure accident.You see here in the caribean (Puerto Rico) the 'indie' alternative rock from europe is even harder to get ahold of.Anyways, this lirics hit right at home "Boy, what you gonna do with your life? So you want to be an artist, want to be a singer Want to be remembered for what you could create♫♫" its the ultimate down to earth dreaming song. he's beating down his own expectations, cause at this point thats what they are blunt expectations, things he has gone off about WANTING, expecting to be and supossedly striving for. Yet, i can relate in the way that he settles", waiting for these dreams to hit him in the face: "♪Waiting so long for your wrists to get thick Waiting so long for the next great party So many questions, so little to say You don't need these weights♫ it's a wake up song. Especially for me. Senior about to begin college, going againt the river of 'future' docotor's layer's and engenier's. Wantinng succes but most importantly wanting to 'be remembered for what you could create'. Its a uphill road, and i know it. But yet again ive' found myself "Drunk again in the rhododendrons". As right as it seems it's not leading me anywhere,(You don't need these weights♫) and that the truth ive finally come face to face with. Fourtunately i did early on. Cause it would be really sad to find myself saying this at 25 years old with kids and a crappy job that is nothing that i would have thought to be.
