Restless Heart was one of RCA’s greatest band success stories of the late ’80s and early‘90s, turning out a series of gold-selling albums, garnering a host of award nominations, and crossing over to the adult contemporary charts before dissolving in 1996. I got to see Restless Heart in concert, and was really lucky and got to go back stage. Let me tell you, these are the most down to earth friendly guys I’ve ever met. They could have told me they were busy, had to go met other fans, rush to their next show or a million other things. Those guys sat there and visited with me for about an hour. Answering my questions listening to me rant and I could tell they really cared about what I had to say. The headliner of the show would not talk to anyone he even cleared the back stage after his set so no one could approach him. I will never buy another CD or go to another show of his. The way I was respected and treated by Restless Heart band members, I will be a fan for life. I even got a set of signed drumsticks.
