It stiffed in sales, but features some of the most personal reflections from all concerned. It is also up there with the greatest monster 'foot on the foldback' 'death in the mosh-pit' 'hey, take the time and get the lyrics motherfucker' epics, if not No.1. Dave didn't work out, but what he did was co-conspire on one of the most musically adept, risk-taking, meaningful, deep and powerful contributions to modern rock the world has ever been graced.
