The origins of the group begin with co-founders, Gary LeVox and Jay DeMarcus, second cousins and close friends from Columbus, Ohio. "I grew up in a very musical family," says Jay DeMarcus about his musical roots. They all are still in me and my brothers heart. this was the song we chose at my sisters funeral. She died very young and I miss her dearly but this song helped me get over it. Movin' On came on the radio and Jenny literally told me to be quite and listen to it. As she sang along with it, there was more emotion in her face than I had seen in a long. After it was over, she turned to me, and said that it was like the song was writen for her, that the person who wrote it knew her. She had a hard life and suffered from alcolism. She was tring to quite and doing a good job of it but her friends would tell her she wasn't any fun after she quite drinking. Jenny died September 11, 2005.
