hey man look at me rocking out | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/4/11

I just can't describe what I feel when I listen to this song, I can't spend a single day without hearing it in my car with a loud volume and dancing, screaming like a crazy, people stare at me and they think that I'm crazy but they should feel what I feel then they will understand.

BOMBASTIC | Reviewer: jhony | 8/25/10

Im INDONESIAN. . . . . do you know indonesia?. OK, I think this song is very fantastic, and bombastic. And than SOAD is a genious musician. because they can fusion the genre of music from rock into the reggae and than solo. I think did'nt a musician can do it except SOAD. So, Im very like it because this song is very interesting for me. Bravo SOAD. . . .

really guy youre telling me the tempo stays the same through the entire song? why dont you tap your foot to the song and pay attention to the huge accelerando toward the end. Or you could pay attention to the caesura before they scream radio and video.

My bad about the rant, just kinda pisses me off when idiots think they know about music and the only thing they could ever hope to play is a retarded recorder...

the song is awesome, Systemm of a Down could have possibly been the best band, I will forever hold my breath on a new album no matter how impossible thier situation is...

caesura- a complete break in sound
accelerando- accelerating; gradually increasing the tempo

Hey man, look at me | Reviewer: Steven | 7/24/10

The verses kind of sound like a mix between ska and polka.. I guess you could call it polska or something. Anyway, love this song especially the bridge. It's really the soundtrack of my brain somedays. This song is one of many where System of a Down shows how musically advanced they are without being so serious and singing about the same gay crap on the radio/video these days

Radio Video | Reviewer: BobbyBobson | 5/24/10

i think this song could be based on drugs(i'm not saying it is) because it's like "Danny And Lisa,Take Me Away From..." Danny And Lisa being the name of two different drugs maybe? E.g Acid/Cocaine? i dunno that's my view on it haha
well along with it being nonesense! :)

@ anonymous
it is not reggae in the verse, reggae is separate genre entirely. the verse is actually what we call "off beat"

@ steph
there is no tempo change in this song, seriously... there rarely is in SOAD songs... tap your foot along in time and pay attention.

@ everyone
the point of a song is to be an open book with bare pages. the lyrics are sung to you, and its up to you to find meaning in those lyrics in relation to your life, and your emotions.
the whole point is that you are meant to relate to the song, not try and find out what state of mind the singer is in (thats what vocal expression is for)

Awesome | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/7/10

This song is the best song written by System of a Down, is had a a good mixture of reggae in the verses and metal in the choruses and the end solo, written about Daron Malakian's old elementary school friends Danny and Lisa, and how far he has gotten since the elementary school years!

5 stars!! | Reviewer: sierra | 12/8/09

This is just one of the many amazing songs that Sytem of a Down has released. Im so sad that they broke up, although Daron, Shavo and John are playing together again... it isn't the same without them! Scars on broadway was pretty good, but mediocre compared toSOAD'S music so it was a bit of a let down. Even though Daron wrote 95% of their songs it wasn't the same without the rest of the band's contributions.

I knew there was a reason I loved SOAD's music, and this is it | Reviewer: Steph | 12/1/09

For such a seemingly simple song, it's remarkable how Radio/Video has managed to hold my heart and renew my faith in music.

I find it amazing how System has managed to pull together a song that has all the intensity of their other songs, yet also has funk and a melody that is to die for. From the start, it catches your attention and, with their signiture tempo changes, the song never leaves you with an opportunity to relax. It keeps you on your toes, forcing your attention upon the intricate riffs and hidden complexity. Personally, I can't get enough of the blues guitar throughout the song, and the harmonization between Serj and Daron. I can't get enough of Daron's voice overall. "AHHH" indeed.

Also, for everyone intent upon finding some hidden meaning in the lyrics, there are only 8 lines(not counting the lala's and the nana's), which are all incredibly easy to figure out. If you want a nice, easy System of a Down song to pull apart, go look up "Vicinity of Obscenity". I'm sure you'll have plenty of fun with that one. Just leave Radio/Video alone. It's absolutely perfect the way it is.

Brilliant | Reviewer: Joe | 7/18/08

it is a brilliant song,
"I love this song!! Its so awsome! If you haven't heard it you have to!! I agree with the annonymous dude this song could mean anything and the only people who could tell us what it really means is the band themselves. So stop disecting and LISTEN! its an awsome song"
The lead singer has said that the song is about his friends from his childhood... danny and lisa, the meaning of this song is pretty easy to pick up
