No, wrong again :) It wasn't before Soundgarden, it was just a kind of side project,... the lead singer of Mother Love Bone(in which Pearl Jam guitar players Jeff Ament and Stone Gossard were playing at the time), Andy Wood, which had been a good friend of Soundgardens lead singer Chris Cornell, died on an OD,... His dead made Cornell depressed, leading him to write songs about it, songs that weren't directly meant for his band Soundgarden,... While still singing in Soundgarden he started to write more songs for his own project which eventually resulted in the release of the album 'Temple of the Dog' in May 1991, 3 months before the release of Pearl Jams 'Ten'

This song is not from Audioslave or Soundgarden. It's Temple of the Dog. This was before Soundgarden and included Chris Cornell and some members that are now in Pearl Jam.
