This is a superbly melodramatic piece of music, which makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, mainly because the lyrics are sung in a way which convinces you that the singer (Paddy McAlloon) is singing about himself. True or not, it has a very strong effect- on this listener anyway, and is available on their '38 carat collection'.
