Plus 44 is a new band consisting of Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker of Blink-182, Shane Gallagher of The Nervous Return and Craig Fairbaugh of The Mercy Killers. The group got it's name from the international dialing code to the UK, because it is where Mark and Travis first discussed doing the project.

"At first, we had the idea that it would have a lot of electronic influences, because by necessity we were recording on a computer. But then we bought this studio, and after we moved the band into here, the whole vibe changed. There's all kinds of stuff going on. Guitars mixed with keyboards, and electronic drums mixed with live drums. It's based on guitars and rhythms, and both Shane and Craig are great guitar players."

"If Blink was the daytime, Plus 44 is the nighttime. It's such a departure from Blink, but it's amazing. I play all the drums, but they're electronic drums, plus I play piano and keyboard on it. And I've been making beats for it. ... I am just going to keep working on stuff. Everything's A-plus."

ok to that "bonk" person .. mark and travis most probably wont answer this site but if yuy want yur question answered .. tom and mark didnt get along well so tom got his manager to call in and say that he quit. and i just wanan say that nothing can replace blink-182 and never will but +44 is awsum.

+44 is awesome. The new blink. Went and saw them at soundwave here in Perth and the were the best!!! Hope they bring out a new albulm soon. All their songs are fantastic and +44 is the best!!!

+44 certainly have something when i first listened to them i thought they sounded just like blink - but then having travis and mark i thought that would happen but...

they do have their own unique sound and its brilliant. All the songs on the album are brilliant and there aren't any tracks that make you think "hmm not sure if i like this".
