Place Of Skulls Biography

Last updated:

Place Of Skulls is an American doom metal band that was formed in the spring of 2000 by Victor Griffin, a former member of the legendary Pentagram. He had broken away from drug use and the shock of the death of family members and was now a newly born Christian. He was joined by several members well-known to fans of the doom metal genre. They recorded a three track demo which secured them a deal with Man's Ruin Records. Man's Ruin went out of business and their debut album was instead released on Southern Lord Recordings, run by Stephen O'Malley of Khanate.
