With a fan base that almost parallels the Grateful Dead's following in size and fervor, and a penchant for extended jams and spacey segues, comparisons between Phish and that legendary group are as pervasive as buckshot 10 yards out of the barrel. I think the lyrics of "Tweezer" are capricious, and the guitar solo that opens the song is inventive and entices the listener to experience the song in its entirety. As the song progresses Anastasio, Gordon, McConnell, and Fishman all add their own personality to make the tune catchy and fresh. You may actually get a sense as if you were about to be seized into a freezer! "Tweezer" is respectively complimented by the songs "Tweezer Reprise," which is a variation of the music and original "Tweezer" lyrics.
