I've heard this song many times before and never knew who it was by or even the songs name but flipping through my older sisters ipod I found this song and I thought to myself I know this song. and I finally know who its by and its by dp I like a lot of there other songs but this ones my favorite.even though I wasn't born in the 80s (i wish I was)i was born in 97' and all the newer music is good but 80s and 90s music is way better.

I had all of their early albums, so was a fan early 80's lost interest a bit later, as I had to spend cash on things other than CDs, sadly. I always thought this wasn't a religous song but quite irony-laded, the lyrics don't suggest this but the tone of voice and music do.

i wonder how many people think this is Marilyn Manson's song.
I know i did.

An infectious little techno number sporting some neat lyrics.
Surprisingly, Depeche Mode is still around today, 20 years later.
Most people probably know them though for that incredibly 80's "Just can't Get Enough".
