BabyShaker, you couldn't be more wrong. The song is clearly about loosing someone he loved and then being so proud as to not let his feeling out and it eating away his life. At the end he realises that he should have grieved properly and let his life move on naturally.

They were a well rehearsed band and you can tell this song was done in one take with very minimal editing or overdubbing, if any. Pantera was sooo good that they recorded a lot of stuff in one or two takes. Just listen to the music. You can tell the difference between a one or two take on a song and one that has been edited and overdubbed and fancied up to sound better.
