I love the way she explores the harmonic potential of a song and reveals beauty that was latent there. Yet not only is she a genius with harmony, but also with the way she regulates the power of her exquisite voice; sometimes soft and delicate -- almost a whisper, then powerful, as needed for the interpretation of the song. And if that's not enough, she has a sincerity in her delivery that's rare -- she feels every word she sings. It's this sincerity that has often brought tears to my eyes listening to her music.
