It gives a special meaning to the lyrics, at least in the mind of the songwriter (can't remember whether eViL J or Otep Shamaya wrote this one, but my money' on Otep). Its meaning in this context is "I shall eat you without salt". Meaning Otep is so pissed off at whoever this song is adressed to she's going to eat them before she can sit down to a nice meal of them. I would be running. At first I knew little about her, but when I read up on her, read some lyrics and heard some songs, my mind was changed. I can relate to her in that I understand pain and anger. The Ascension is powerful, speak-the-mind, angry, violent, loud, intricate, and the best album yet. And the single "Necessary Acessories"... heh, it's a reverse-Apocalyptic sign of things to come. If you like intelligence with your metal-i.e. symbolism and a deeper meaning than "kill The Man", THIS. IS. IT. Best overall metal artists, never mind femme-fronted metal artist! Finally, a deep, powerful lyriced metal band with a girl who can both scream and sing well.
