I was sitting in the back of the bus when I first heard this. Usually, I'm not the one for spoken tracks. I find them to be a bit too boring, often. But this. This was something else.

The way Otep twists her words in a way that you could envision a killer actually describing it's crime is terrifying. Terrifying and magnificently beautiful, to the point of thinking she had a hand in it herself.
The honesty and bluntness of the way she chose her words makes me almost want to believe it. And that's what I find lack in other spoken tracks I've heard.

Beautiful, not to mention haunting. Wonderful work.

Ok so you got the meaning of the song right, but it was extremely hard to read! Plus who cares if you're taking back what's yours, no one else has commented. Do you know how to spell?? It's 'ours' not 'ares', it's 'really' not 'realy', 'truly' not 'truley', 'taking' not 'takeing', 'their' not 'there'. Doesn't anything you wrote look weird to you? Are you 5 years old or something?? For fuck sake, what do they teach you in America??

Really, you don't know much about the band, do you? ^^ The orginal way that the lyrics were spelled is the way that it reads in the lyrics booklet if you were to buy a copy of Sevas Tra, Acenscion, Jihad, or House of Secrets.

It gives a special meaning to the lyrics, at least in the mind of the songwriter (can't remember whether eViL J or Otep Shamaya wrote this one, but my money' on Otep).

So, before you wreck the lyrics, GET A FUCKING CLUE!

This is the one song that allow me to accept all my mistakes for what they are. It honestly lets me see that life is for living and not judging. I love it so fxxking much! It shows that you don't need to care for what people think. Just be who you are without the thoughts of all the flaws that you have within yourself. Life is too short to have your life depend on the thoughts inside the minds of the people that you associate with.

i think these lyrics are perfect, this song sometimes makes me cry, sometimes it makes me scream all my anger out.
