Until now, there existed only one constant in the working
method of the electro-metal men Oomph!: the permanent
change. Since their foundation in 1989, Dero (vocals,
drums), Crap (guitar, keyboard) and Flux (guitar, sampling)
have kept to their resolution; consequently also the new
album EGO (meanwhile it is the seventh album) presents
unknown and exciting facets of the "Braunschweiger"
sound-pioneers. "For me as an artist and man, standstill is
a foreign word", frontman Dero emphasizes his aversion to
creative as well as private self-satisfaction.
Oomph! have worked on that sound, that helped the band to
get their most successful album named PLASTIK (incl. the
hit-singles Das weiße Licht and Fieber feat. Nina Hagen),
without losing that typical unpolished style More...

------ About the song Die Schlinge performed by Oomph!
My sister got me into this band (she tempted me with pictures of Dero Goi tied to a bed. Hot.) I absolutely LOVE this song. Bands don't write enough music in 6/8 time. Plus, as previously mentioned, Dero is possibly one of the hottest men on the planet.
God, I love them. | Reviewer: Kali-chan
------ About artist/band Oomph!
Hm, lets see.
Oomph! is, by far, one of the oddest bands I've ever heard. Honestly, if a friend of mine from Norway hadn't asked me to give it a listen, I would have never known about them -this taking in consideration I'm Portuguese-.
I can't reallt describe what type of music they play -though I know officially it's from Heavy Rock, passing to slight Metal but mostly Industrial Metal-, because it sounds so different to me, I actually never imagined myself listening to this kind of stuff -although I am a Metal, Heavy Metal and Heavy Rock lover-.
I just think the music's amazing, the vocals are completely breathtaking and the melodies are seriously off the charts. It really saddens me to know they aren't as well known as Rammstein -when I honestly prefer this trio-.
I just ask them to keep going, I like filling my iTunes and phone with their music. It's really relaxing in a way -even the really heavy ones-.

Oomph is really a great band. One of the best I've heard in a while. I don't really speak German, but o well. These guys are worth listening to if you speak any language. They are just that good! Plus Dero is pretty hot!

------ About the song Die Maske performed by Oomph!
This is a really good song but the lyrics don't seem to match up with the words of the song, and the way that they are clumped together like that makes it very difficult to be able to know what they are saying. I'm trying to fix them but I don't know German so it makes it very hard.
Can some one please fix these?

------ About the song Fieber performed by Oomph!
Well, this song is a little jewel in OOMPH's discography, since Nina'a and Dero's voices fill each other perfectly. Not only that Nina fits this song but the whole OOMPH's style too. The track is really gloomy and somehow perfidious. And the chorus is very easy to remember, so you actually realise yourself humming it while doing a meal or something. It's a real hit.
