I love the song but I am sorry to burst all of your bubbles. Lonestar never did One More Day. It was done by Diamond Rio. Find the Lonestar album that has One More Day on it, then I will believe you.

I know people usually think of a lost lover when they hear this song, but I think of my mother who died of lung cancer a few years ago. I also think of my father since my mom's death came on their 50th wedding anniversary. I know it sounds cliche, but we truly never hear people say that they regret spending too much time with a loved one or that they said "I love you" too many times. We always think that we have "one more day" and it is probably good advice to live like that could be true.

My fiance died only 5 months ago of a massive heart attack out of nowhere. -we were even in a fight when it happened...i miss him so much, whenever i hear this song i cant help but cry and wonder if just maybe he can hear it too...

I think this song touches the hearts of many. It's a love song and an I miss you song all in one. I don't think I've heard a better song from Lonestar other than I'm Already There. The man that wrote this song wrote it for his wife and he truly deserves to be thanked.
