Old Habits Lyrics - Hank Williams, Jr.
Review The Song (2)
Well I kicked the habit of smoking back sometime ago
And I tried the hard stuff, but I had to let all that go.
But the toughest thing I ever gave up was today.
Cause Old Habits Like You are hard to break.
I used lifesavers to help me get off cigarettes.
But you know for your love I aint found those lifesavers yet.
And I've gone cold turkey cause there's not even one kiss a day.
And Old habits like you are hard to break.
Old habits like you are hard to break.
Love with someone new is so hard to make.
I had grown so use to you and all of your ways.
Old Habits Like You are hard to break

We Don't Break Habits | Reviewer: Jim Bob | 9/22/09
We don't break bad habits, we replace them. The Bible does not tell us to break bad habits but to replace them with godly habits. Basically, the process of change is described in the Bible by three key terms: PUT OFF – RENEW – PUT ON. You are to PUT OFF your old sinful way of life, renew your mind with the truths of Scripture, and PUT ON the new godly way of life. Ephesians 4:22-24 clearly describes this process. This is all done in the power of the Holy Spirit of course. We are saved by grace through the blood of Jesus.
