Word of mouth has allowed Odd Project to become the #1 band on the metal charts of the now defunct mp3.com, the #2 metal band on www.garageband.com and the #4 overall on www.hxcmp3.com. These listener-supported achievements have put the band on the fast track in the digital world.
Hailing from a hot bed for progressive music, Orange County, California, Odd Project formed in the fall of 2000. After recording two demos, which was not what they were looking for musically, they continued to write music and underwent a couple line-up changes. The band's most recent demo (July 2003) contains material that Odd Project excels in. Metal, hardcore and emo are just a few influences integrated into their material. This is due to the diversity of the band member’s personal tastes. The music is aimed towards combining a punch in your face sound with uplifting melodies to create an aggressive, yet emotional feeling.
The demo caught the attention of many in the record industry and resulted in a multi-album deal with Indianola Records. Look for "The Second Hand Stopped" release on Indianola Records July 13th.

GODDAMMIT THESE GUYS ARE HOTTER THAN FUCKING FLAMES seriously not just to talk them up, these guys have the most creative guitar riffs, and the drums are amazing also, seriously its just good music I recommend this shit
