One of the members of the band suggested it. I listened to the song and i have falled in love with it. I was reading reviews about this song and one person said god doesnt make oceans from the rain. They said we need to be versed in his word. I agree we do but the word in the begginig of the bible up till the great flood was one solid mass. The flood happened and oceans were formed. God took an act of punishment to the human race and made something beautiful out of it made the word we have today with high mountains and gorges and other things like that. That is what they are getting that line from. If u listen to the end of the song ull hear a backround vocal saying "wash it all away" because durring the flood thats exactly what god did he washed everything away and created someting new. Read Genesis 2:5 where it talks about there had been no rain yet. When God created the oceans, it just happened, it didn't rain. Rain is made from the Ocean, not vice versa. When Oceans From The Rain played, several people got down on their knees and called out to God. The people crying out had been going through a spiritual drought, much like the drought that was in the area. After the song was over, rain started to fall.
