I wish I could eat the salt off of your lost faded lips
We can cap the old times, make playing only logical harm
We can cap the old lines, make playing that nothing else will change
But she can read, she can read, she can read, she can read, she's bad
She can read, she can read, she can read, she's bad
Oh, she's bad
But It's different now that I'm poor and aging. I'll never see this face again
You go stabbing yourself in the neck
We can find new ways of living make playing only logical harm
And we can top the old times, claim-making that nothing else will change
But she can read, she can read, she can read, she can read, she's bad
She can read, she can read, she can read, she's bad
Oh, she's bad
It's different now that I'm poor and aging, I'll never see this place again
You go stabbing yourself in the neck
But it's different now that I'm poor and aging, I'll never see this place again
And you go stabbing yourself in the neck
It's in the way that she poses, it's in the things that she puts in my head
Her stories are boring and stuff, she's always calling my bluff
She puts, she puts the weights into my little heart
And she gets in my room and she takes it apart
She puts the weights into my little heart
I said she puts the weights into my little heart
She packs it away
She packs it away
She packs it away
She packs it away
She packs it away
She packs it away
She packs it away
It's in the way that she walks
Her heaven is never enough
She puts the weights in my heart
She puts, oh she puts the weights into my little heart

Review about Obstacle 1 Stop being babies little beotches... | Reviewer: mjill | 12/5/09
It's pathetic that people actually degrade this song and the band just because it's a Guitar Hero ditty. Get over yourself. It's a great song and a great band. Just because you are 19 and feel your opinion matters doesn't make it right, early worthless marriage or no. Just enjoy the music the way it was supposed to be and not the BS horse cockie you want it to be. Pathetic.
Why so bad on GH | Reviewer: Rayz0r | 10/1/09
I am sure that Interpol are glad that more people are appreciating their music regardless of how they come to listen to it. I remember seeing Interpol on Jules Holland a long time ago and have been a fan ever since, obviously this is one of their best songs and I think it's fantastic that people have found out about Interpol through Guitar Hero.
WTF | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/18/09
this song Is amazing It's one of mine and my future husbands fav's we been digging on this since high school and I makes me sad when people say they've only just started listening to this all because of Lame ass guitar hero It saddens me because I feel now that It bares the make of GH that it cheapens it I strongly encourage anybody that this applies to to check out other Interpol songs, because they all are sweet and beautiful.
In addition I'd just like to say Fuck guitar hero
I don't listen to rock music @ all really but since playing GH I've found quite a few tracks I find to be amazing, this being one. This coming from a strict hip hop fan. Don't know what it is about this song, been stuck in my head all day.
One of the coolest songs I've ever heard. | Reviewer: Metablaze | 7/15/09
First heard this song on Guitar Hero. Yeah, sad, I know, but I find that the way music and videogames are coming together is helping reignite my interest in music. This song is one of the best songs I've heard in my life. I can listen to it all day, and I feel like I identify with the whole feel of it. One of the coolest songs I've ever heard, in the literal sense of cool, not the "oh that's cool just because it's popular" sense, but the actual true essence of cool sense, and it prompted me to actually spend time learning about a band and becoming a fan of it, and that's very hard to get someone like me to do.
My favorite song... | Reviewer: SethMayCry | 2/15/09
This song is beautiful....brings back memories. I never been in a relationship but i could understand the meaning... Love You PAUL BANKS keep up ur awsome vocals *crys*
First time I heard this song I knew I had to learn it on drums!(I'm a drummer) Everytime I hear it I see myself going through the drumming motions. Great warm-up song for me. I need to YouTube myself playing this!
Love at first hearing! | Reviewer: ya mum | 11/20/08
this was the first interpol song i heard and i was absolutely take aback by it. I cant feel like i personally relate, i've never been in relationship, but the constructs that i've been exposed through in the media and books etc, made the imagery of this song so easy and it made sense.
I can understand his confusion and angst yet infatuation he has without having experience - i feel like this song tells me about things to come with relationships and partners.
but oh, interpol's lyrics and music are just genius. they manage to make their songs slightly humorous through the morbidity yet it doesn't detract from the meaningfullness and sincerity of where its coming from. Love it! i hope to see them in concert one day.
Paul Banks' vocals in this song are outstanding.
Every time I hear this song, I feel like I am becoming encompassed inside art, and that every part of my body has been filled with emotion.
The vagueness of the lyrics is genius as well; allowing just about anyone to relate to the song and interpret it the way they want to. I honestly doubt you can get any better than this masterpiece right here.

yes, perfection. i'm in the same predicament. I can't listen to anything but Interpol since saw them over 6 months ago!
