O Praise Him (All This For A King) Lyrics - David Crowder Band

Review The Song (22)

Turn your ear
To Heaven and hear
The noise inside
The sound of angels awe
The sound of angels' songs
And all this for a King
We could join and sing
'All to Christ our King!'

How constant
How divine
This song of ours will rise
Oh, how constant
How divine
This love of ours will rise
Will rise...

Ohh praise Him!
Ohh praise Him!
He is Holy!
He is Holy!

Turn your gaze
To Heaven and raise
A joyous noise
Oh the sound of salvation come
The sound of rescued ones
And all this for a king
Angels join to sing
'All for Christ our King!'

Oh la la la la la la..
Oh la la la la la la..
Oh la la la la la... laaa laa laa laaa!

How infinite and sweet
This love so rescuing
Oh how infinitely sweet
This great love that has redeemed
As one, we sing...

He is Holy,
He is Holy

Oh la la la la la la..
Oh la la la la la la..
Oh la la la la la... laaa laa laa laaa!

Oh la la la la la la..
Oh la la la la la la..
Oh la la la la la... laaa laa laa laaa laa!

the most anointed song | Reviewer: malcolm clarke | 11/12/11

The opening lines for this song are, "turn your ears to heaven and hear the noise inside." Just that is enough for the Holy Spirit to move. David Crowder was blessed when God wrote this song through him. It Truly has to be anointed. :D

grammar? stupid? | Reviewer: matt bro | 10/5/11

This song is amazingly annointed, its from God, David Crowder is originally not American so he doesn't know every single grammar rule ever. Hes writing these songs to worship God, and singing Lalalallllalalala can be a song of your testimony. If u say this is stupid then you really need to study the Bible. Read about how much David danced. Read about how some people acted and said when they felt God. And if you don't like the song then don't look up the lyrics, and don't listen to the song. I just pray yall see the truth in it all, but nonetheless thank you David Crowder!! You're a blessing!!

PRAISE HIM!!!!:) | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/10/11

I love this song. I am listening to it while in the library and just feel like standing up and shouting the words out. I am glad God uses simple words and his children to produce something so beuatiful and spirit-filled to the Glory and honor of his name. Love him (GOD) even unto death. :)

for the record... | Reviewer: big mike | 2/9/11

i would like to say that THE LORD ASK us to make a joyful noise to HIM, not to be the best at grammatical excellence. this song is righteous and is blameless as for as THE SCRIPTURES go. to quote our LORD JESUS, "he who exalts me on earth, I Will exalt in Heaven, but he who denies Me on earth will be denied in Heaven". before bashing this song or the artist be sure to take a good look in the mirror 1st. -mp

Unfathomable | Reviewer: SonzTwin | 12/25/10

The way this praise song touches me every time we sing it at Northland is deep and indescribable. One young reviewer said he "almost" cried - I get choked up sometimes even THINKING about it. But what I can't understand is why someone would have such VICIOUS things to say about a song that other believers obviously love. If it's not your cup of tea, and you don't have anything nice to say, go review a song you love then!

captivating | Reviewer: Chet | 5/14/10

for me this song is like an anthem of praise, the intro of the song is like the sound of a sweet flowing fountain, so captivating, enchanting, melodious- "may the Almighty continue blessing the band for His glory!"

Love god | Reviewer: James | 3/25/10

This is what we followers of god call a worship song. Keyword is worship. These are songs for god by god. There are no rules to writing worship songs aslong as you Worship god. For some one to complain or judge a song for god should not call themselves Christian. Grammar, English, spelling, rythme, is all coming from the holy spirit. God bless

This is awful | Reviewer: Alan | 11/9/09

This is a great example of how if something's religious in content, it doesn't matter how bad it is - religious people will feel so compelled to like it that they genuinely will. Oh la la la la la la. Oh la la la la la la. Oh la la la la la oh shut up.

Dave Crowder's lyrics are awful | Reviewer: Campaign for proper lyrics | 10/8/09

Anyone who thinks Dave Crowder's lyrics are good really needs to learn grammar and read the Bible.
The only time his lyrics aren't grammatically incorrect, they're mediocre at best.
He also doesn't know how to sing in English.
Awful, awful, awful. Thank the Lord for Chris Tomlim, Tim Hughes and Matt Redman!!!

Personal thought | Reviewer: ForeverThinker | 9/24/09

I always thought i'd find happiness through love, through a partner of life. With time, i'm realising loving someone is great, but not enough. Love between two people can be a salvation sometimes, but can also be the reason of your breakdown. That's why the love of God should always be supporting the love between two imperfect human beings.
