students Marc Roderge (vocals/rhythm guitar) and Chris
Culos (drums) developed into a daily ritual of two best
friends meeting after school in an old basement to feed an
insatiable interest in music that has now evolved into the
truly original sound of O.A.R. Day in and day out, the two
spent lots of time developing the sound that would
eventually become their own unique musical indentity. They
stumbled upon a true fusion of rock, reggae, ska, and folk
coupled with carefully selected lyrics that take the
listener on a journey through the eyes of a wandering soul.
The music offers the listener a fresh sound that is worthy

------ About artist/band O.A.R. (Of A Revolution)
I have only recently found out about O.A.R. and their great unique sound. I am a mid-50's "raised by motown and rock n' roll" man who was starting to think all the good music had ended with Doobie Brothers, Marvin Gaye, etc., in the 70's. I was wrong. This past year I have listened to Sirrius radio whenever I am in my vehicle and O.A.R. was a great find! The first song I heard by them was "Shattered", and as good as it is, I am now finding out they have had a ton of good music for quite a few years. Especially considering their all fairly young. I will be an avid listener of this remarkable fusion band from now on.
This is one of the most beautiful songs that I have ever heard. If you have ever been in a rocky relationship then you can relate. The lyrics, the rhythm, the message is just so heartfelt. I love it, I lived it.

------ About the song Shattered performed by O.A.R. (Of A Revolution)
O.A.R. never ceases to amaze me, they constantly show that there is still good left in the music industry. they just go to show that even as they grow in popularity, through their lyrics they stay true to what made them OAR. i saw them live in Dallas in May of 08 and all i can say is the energy and the vibes and the entirety of the show was the most rediculous thing ive ever experienced. everyone should go to at least one of their live shows just to check out how they jam like crazy guys without a care in the world besides music!

what this song speaks about is why O.A.R. is my favorite band. OAR got me through high school and kept me from goin insane from all of the drama and I owe it to these guys because they can truly write and produce great music. This is one of my favorite songs, I hope they never stop playing it. and i agree, everything from OAR is 10 times better live.
Outstanding sound! I love this band and have recently discovered them through my teenaged kids - who are truly obsessed. I kept buying concert tickets and finally got one for myself. I love their sound and I want them back on the road - COME TO CHICAGO!! Unique sound, soulful lyrics, don't miss this band!

Best song ever!!!!! Ok, not really. But it is still really good. You know how they all say "Feel Good Movie of the Year"? Well if there could be a "Feel Good Song of the Year" it would be this song. You can't just help but soar and daydream while listening to this amazing work.

Everyone can relate to this song
It feels so good to be home
and know that all of your worries are gone
Could someone PLEASE publish the lyrics for "Ryhthm of Your Shoes"?!? I hear the accoustic version on a local Detroit station (recorded here, live) and I LOVE IT! It strikes a cord with me, and would love to see the lyrics.
Thanks -

------ About the song Love and Memories performed by O.A.R. (Of A Revolution)
It's a great song, Live, Acoustic, Album, any way you slice it. The new MSG live labum is less than stellar, tho. Any time now was much more lively.
BTW, they're Maryland natives, they just went to Ohio State...

Great people doing what they love to do. They always play their hearts out no matter where they perform. O.A.R. will keep growing in popularity and release many more great albums. Awesome band!!!
In the vein of most folky type music, this song (like most of OAR's) is EXTREMELY simple. It is literally made up of 3 chords. Good message, fun delivery, ZERO song writing ability. The chicks seem to dig it though....

This song is a good song by a the ohio natives. They sound amazing live, and they will continue to succeed because of that. This song would sound great live, b/c an accoustic version of it could keep me entertained!!!!!!
