What began as a vision in the eyes of junior high school students Marc Roderge (vocals/rhythm guitar) and Chris Culos (drums) developed into a daily ritual of two best friends meeting after school in an old basement to feed an insatiable interest in music that has now evolved into the truly original sound of O.A.R. Day in and day out, the two spent lots of time developing the sound that would eventually become their own unique musical indentity. I am a mid-50's "raised by motown and rock n' roll" man who was starting to think all the good music had ended with Doobie Brothers, Marvin Gaye, etc., in the 70's. I was wrong. This past year I have listened to Sirrius radio whenever I am in my vehicle and O.A.R. was a great find! The first song I heard by them was "Shattered", and as good as it is, I am now finding out they have had a ton of good music for quite a few years. Especially considering their all fairly young.
