Not An Addict Lyrics - K's Choice

Review The Song (7)

Breathe it in and breathe it out
And pass it on, it's almost out
We're so creative, so much more
We're high above but on the floor

It's not a habit, it's cool, I feel alive
If you don't have it you're on the other side

The deeper you stick it in your vein
The deeper the thoughts, there's no more pain
I'm in heaven, I'm a god
I'm everywhere, I feel so hot

It's not a habit, it's cool, I feel alive
If you don't have it you're on the other side
I'm not an addict (maybe that's a lie)

It's over now, I'm cold, alone
I'm just a person on my own
Nothing means a thing to me
(Nothing means a thing to me)

It's not a habit, it's cool, I feel alive
If you don't have it you're on the other side
I'm not an addict (maybe that's a lie)

Free me, leave me
Watch me as I'm going down
Free me, see me
Look at me, I'm falling and I'm falling.

It is not a habit, it is cool I feel alive I feel...
It is not a habit, it is cool I feel alive

It's not a habit, it's cool, I feel alive
If you don't have it you're on the other side
I'm not an addict (maybe that's a lie)
I'm not an addict...

nice one | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/3/11

it is a unique song. a good self-revelation. you can relate to the lyrics itself, though i myself is not addicted to drugs or whatsoever. i just feel that i can relate to this song.all of a sudden you can feel how important life is and you'll know that there is a way back from the start where everything is somewhat perfect. it catches the soul to the very end. you'll fell the highs and lows of life.

i love the lyrics, such an original creation

Can anyone suggest more great songs with the same or similar subject matter, please? | Reviewer: LittleBull | 7/15/10

Can anyone suggest more great songs with the same or similar subject matter, please? I love this song and totally relate. Thanks to the person who already posted that Wolfsheim song! I really apreciated that suggestion.

Tragic... | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/6/07

I can really relate to this song... I always used to see drugs as a mystical adventure that Ill never have the courage to get myself into... until my ex-boyfriend started doing meth and cocaine (we had broken up before he started).. it really hurt me... the pain I feel is strange... I would never want to make anyone feel this pain.. I dont think he has heard this song..do you think it will help if he did?

maybe addiction-specific, but still speaks for the emerging addicts in us | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/3/07

After the revelation of my own addiction a couple of days ago, I finally understand why I've always liked this song. Another I would recommend is "Heroin, She Said" by Wolfsheim, a great song to dance to at the clubs, as well. Sex addiction is a different animal than drug addiction or alcoholism, but the disease is the same. I recommend to anyone wondering if they've got a problem to visit whichever applicable 12-Step website (AA, NA, OA, or SAA, those are he ones I know of) and educate yourself. But it probably won't matter until you hit bottom anyway, since most people deny the existance of their problem until it's too late or almost too late. When you're ready, there will be a meeting/group ready to welcome you without judgement. You just have to scrape together the courage to go to it.

The best of it's kind | Reviewer: HSA | 5/17/07

This song is a relevation. It unites me with the criminally few people who have heard it. I relate to the song though I'm not much of a stoner (which is good) but there are nights, lonely nights or nights with friends and sundry when this song really accentuates the smoke in the air. OUTSTANDING. TRUIMPHANT.

The kind of song you wouldn't share with anyone you know worrying it might become too popular.

I hear ya Scott! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/2/07

This is an awesome song! I got way bad into all types of drugs for quite awhile! I'm a 6ft tall male that dropped from 185 to 115 from Cocaine,Oxy's and many other drugs. I'm off of them now and am back to my normal weight. I've known this song for a long time but never REALLY understood it til about a year ago.

Beautiful Song ( a little surprised as well ) | Reviewer: Scott R | 3/16/07

I used to hear this song on the radio (years ago), i liked it then, but it has alot of meaning for me now. It tells a story of me and my girlfriend who is locked up in re-hab. I praise her for finnaly seeing she needed help, she had been there now for almost 14 months, to anyone that's not locked up that might not seem like a long time, but think to yourself of everything that happens in a year +, birthdays, holidays, etc... I'm a little bit surprised that there is'nt anymore comments on this song as opposed to the rest on this website. I'll enter a update on this soon if anyone cares to hear it. Or i take any comments at scoruss72@yahoo.com. By the way this is not spam, i would love to talk to or hear from anyone in my situation. Thanks..... Scott
