My story... (if u r easily bored stop reading)

I have never been bullied but have always been around bullying. My best friend was bullied hard, for about 4 years. She is beautiful, but all the bullyies were jealous, and tried to make her look horrible. Everyday she would be late to class and I'd ask her why and shed say stuff like 'I slept in'. No one else noticed the red and blue marks across her face, or the smudged concealed hiding a black eye but me. I never asked. But one day I found her in the toilets cutting. It was the worst thing I have ever seen in my life. The look on her face was a mixture of pain and enjoyment.
She became slowly more and more suicidal, until it got so bad I had to break the promise I vowed to keep. I told the teacjger at school, her mum,dad and sister. The bullies never gave up though for another year. After 4 years of bullying, she was ready to kill herself.
But then I heard this song, 6 years after it had been written and sang it for her.
It made her think no one is alone.
Guess what.....
I'm only 13. She was 10 when she finished cutting. She stopped cutting but carried on with suicidal thoughts. I sang this to her when she was 12. No one is alone.

At first when I heard this song I didn't realise what it was about, but after I listen to the lyrics carefully, I realised it was about poor Dannys experiences!
I bet those bullies are thinking "Well I feel sooooooo stupid now cuz he's a massive celeb and I'm just a nobody!"
I hope they regret it, whoever they are!

It shows you to NEVER STOP BELIEVING IN YOURSELF because YOURE NOT ALONE no matter how lonely u feel there is always someone there for you!

this song is amazing. i was bullied a lot and didn't have a song like this during those times.it is great to know that there is a song out there that gives hope to those kids that are bullied. Danny you Rock

i get major goose bumps whenever i hear this amazing song. it gets me through those days where everyone seems to be against you and you doubt yourself. even the most toughest people MUST crumble at this song, coz it sure melts me... i will love mcfly untill the very day i die. :) this song, it kinda gives you that little bit of strength youve been searching for to carry on.

from the very moment i first heard it, this song became my favourite song ever.

and just when i thought it couldnt be topped the guys created 'bubble wrap' both songs are stunning, and 'not alone' has gotten me through my darkest times.

it was an amazing opportunity to be able ot tell danny that back in april/may. i met them twice, and the venue was amazing coz i got bacckstage and bumped into the boys multiple times. loved it.

Danny you inspire me. Your an amazing song write, guitar player and an awesome singer. I dream everyday that I could hope to meet you and also Dougie, Tom and Harry. I love all your guys songs. Your all smokin Hot!!!!!

i agree that danny jones is the greatest songwriter evr along side with tom. but his voice is really sexy and too bad he's not sinlge. :)) love ya danny! this song is really nice and ispirational if you think that he was just 16 when he wrote this you'll understand that Mcfly aren't just a band. they r the best band in music's history! danny jones is the hottest guy alive and with the best voice too! when i see him i just wanna go and kiss him! he's so damn cute!

This song is a great song and a great inspiration! Danny Jones really proved himself in this song! Whoever said that this band was just a fake pop band trully lied! They are awesome and this trully proves it! I esepecially like the acoustic version at Wembley in the Motion in the Ocean tour! Guitar + Harmonica + Danny Jones = Perfect!!!!
