The Noctuary legacy began in the summer of 1996. The
release of the Where All Agony Prevails demo marked the
first leg of this grand metallic journey. Raw, extreme,
melodic, and darkness expressed the nature of the band
member's collective sorrows, hatreds, and glory. Noctuary
was exploring style that very few in the American
underground had yet to be introduced to.

The next year was wrought with struggle and hardship. A
short hiatus was taken in the early months and Noctuary was
brought back to life by mid-spring; with only half of the
original lineup remaining. By the end of the summer, only
1/4 of the original lineup remained. The fall marked the
first negotiations with a startup record label offshoot of
Dark Symphonies distribution called Blood, Fire, Death. More...
