No Name #4 Lyrics - Elliott Smith
Review The Song (1)
For a change she got out before he hurt her bad
Took her records and clothes and pictures of her boy
It really made her sad
Packed it up and didn't look back
I'm okay, let's just forget all about it
The car was cold and it smelled like old cigarettes and pine
In her bag i saw things she drew when she was nine
Like this one here
Her alone, nobody near
What a shame, let's just not talk about it
No, it doesn't look like you
But you did wear cowboy boots, that's your fame
There's no question about it
Once we got back inside
With one ear to the ground
I was ready to hide
sponsored linksCos I don't know who's around
And you look scared
It's our secret, do not tell, okay?
Let's just not talk about it
Don't tell, okay?
Let's just forget all about it

I'm working on a version of | Reviewer: barbiplease | 9/1/2007
I have always placed a low priority on song lyrics vs. overall musical sound because I have trouble hearing background noises and can never hear lyrics. This had impeded me for a lifetime from taking up singing and also playing instruments as a hobby, which I have just "begun" after years of breathing incorrectly and too much background noise to hear anything. So I will download the lyrics and see if there needs to be any corrections. At the current moment, I only like the song because of the sound of it. I do not understand what it is saying but heard a few "key" words but have forgotten most of them. I purchased the album around 1998 I think.
However, my current version must stay in the unaltered in lyrics version because of other issues/problems related to technical matters.
