I never, ever get tired of their music.....it's the best. It touches my soul like no other music has in a really long time. This is real music. I feel blessed to have the ear to recognize a hell of a good band such as Interpol. Interpol has this sound...that is simply put, beautiful. I lament the fact that they were not around in the 80's when we needed them. The production on their junior effort is sublime. Kudos to the producer/s. Paul Banks is a supertalent. Not many people come along like him. Enjoy him while you can. His voice may be driven by a supernatural force. We, and even he, may never know for sure. The rest of the band is an amazing force to be reckoned with as well. The guitar, bass, and drums, and all the other sounds on the record, are absolutely wonderful. Beautiful lyrics, particularly on this song, notwithstanding the intended pun. Enjoy.
