It all came together for the group after a few years of performing in Southern California when a demo of their music ended up in the hands of "The King of Pop," Michael Jackson. Jackson loved what he heard and shepherded them to their first album release, Keep On, on his own MJJ/Epic label. At MJJ/Epic, No Authority established themselves as consummate professionals in today's music scene. From slamming up-tempos to heartfelt ballads, the group's first release had it all. They had the vision to work with some of the newest up-and-coming producers, including 21-year old Grammy winner Rodney Jenkins, whose recent work (Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, Brandy, Jennifer Lopez) has made him one of the hottest producers in the industry today.

No Authority's infectious single, "What I Wanna Do," continues to be one of Radio Disney's most requested tunes, and sat in its Top 5 for fourteen weeks. The brand-new single, "Can I Get Your Number," will be commercially released on June 20, and will be on NA's self-titled second album (and first on the Maverick label), in stores July 18. Production credits include Swedish producers Herbie Crichlow (Backstreet Boys, Robyn), and Danish producer Cutfather and Joe (Ace of Base, Aqua, Five, and B*Witched).

No Authority's musical influences range from R&B/Hip-hop artists Boys II Men, Blackstreet, Snoop Doggy Dog, and 112 -- to Pop/Rock artists Garbage, Prodigy, Beastie Boys, and of course, Michael Jackson. That is why NA's new album explores the group's vast musical spectrum. From the heart-touching romance of "Beautiful Girl," to the make-you-want-to-jump-up-and-dance "What I Wanna Do" and "Can I Get Your Number," the one constant theme is infectious melodies, smooth harmonies, and unforgettable hooks.

Unity has always played a great part in this group. Their friendship was established long before their music, and this will always come first. No Authority gets great satisfaction in performing for and pleasing every one of their fans. Danny is the skateboarder and surfer in the group. Ricky G loves to play every video game ever made, and his other passion is dancing (he's worked with Paula Abdul and Debbie Allen). Eric loves to dance too (he has won many dance awards), while Tommy loves to dance, spend time on the Internet, and work on his songwriting with Ricky.

The members of No Authority each have entertainment in their blood and have always loved to perform. They have toured Europe twice, appeared in just about every teen magazine, and created one of the teen scene's most visited website ( ) attracting thousands of fans worldwide daily. Taking their careers to the next level, No Authority will open for Britney Spears on select dates during her hot U.S. Summer 2000 tour, and NA will be back by popular demand on Nickelodeon's "All That Music & More Tour 2000."Now the world will get to know what many music insiders already know No Authority has "the authority" to take their music to the top of the charts!
