Night Ranger's very known for its big hit Sister Christian, but there's so much more than what's on the cover, especially with this album. It's tough pop-rock for the time, but in that sense it is not pop for pop's sake, but rather the sound lends itself to that category better than straight forward rock due to the clever use of the keyboards. Great guitar riffs move through out the songs that some more popular hard rock bands of the time only wished they could have. All the same the ballads are very heartfelt and do not lack in intensity or in technique. A great band and a great album forgotten in the annals of time.
