Nicholas Edward Cave was born in Warracknabeal, Australia
on 22. of September 1957. His mother's name is Dawn, a
librarian; his father Colin was an English Teacher. He has
two older brothers,Tim (1952) and Peter (1954) and a
sister, Julie (1959). He was raised an Anglican, which
explains the apparent influence of The Bible in his work.
Wife and son
Nick Cave was living together with Viviane, born in Sao
Paulo, Brazil, and has a son with her, Luke, born in 1991.
Recent rumours have it, that Nick and Viviane split up and
Nick has some kind of an affair with PJ Harvey.

This song never fails to bring a tear to my eye.
However I'm pretty sure it was written to honor Michael Hutchence after he passed. I know that Nick sang it at the public memorial service, and I can't imagine someone like him pulling a song out of his repitoire (sp?) for something like that.

The greatest love song ever written.
He is so in love with this girl. He doesn't believe in God, but on the chance he is wrong he prays to him begging him never to change his girl at all because, to him, not even God could make her more perfect. And if God must intervene let it be so that she ends up with him.
On top of that, he now must question the existence of angels. Because though he doesn't believe in them, her existence makes him question his own conclusions. He is calling her an angel.
I really find it interesting listening to Nick Caves music.. He seems mysterious and different. I just sit and listen to his voice, and try and understand every word he says. But listening to all his music makes me wonder about his life, and i have visted just about every Nick Cave site there is and all it says basically is his birthday,where he grew up and his parents and so on. But i want to know the other things.. the deep secrets, his problems, the way life went for him. So i would be so happy if any site would get that information for me so i can learn about my favourite NICK CAVE!
