------ About the album Harvest performed by Neil Young

It was in the San Francisco Bay Area that I first heard the album Harvest by Neil Young. I made it part of my music collection as soon as I could. The music on this album brings back a flood of memories. Some very good, and there are a few that were not all that good. At that time. My girl friend and I use to listen to Harvest by Neil Young almost daily. In 2013 my favorite song by Neil is "You Are Like A Hurricane"

------ About the album Time Fades Away performed by Neil Young

When I was 14 and 15 I discovered this album Probably some of the most Defining Music of my teenage years. "Don't be denied" pushed me out into to the world. The raw melodies and sounds That neil produces, almost make me cry when I think of those times. "the bridge" is almost a church hymn. I wish I could purchase this album again On cd. if I purchased the. album I would have to go get a turntable, which I thought I'd never say again

------ About the album Zuma performed by Neil Young

Tis is a fantastichis is on my top ten ( in fact #2) of my favorite Neil Young albums. I have been and still am a fan since my teens in the mid 70's. I now have a mint condition 1st pressing LP and CD of Zuma. Bought it new when first released and have listened to it from 15 to 50 and still love it. I am not a pro music critic, but have always prided myself on having and edge above the general public ( both my daughter and stepson, 18, 26 & 28 ) also share my music interests. I feele same this is a fantastic example of My Young temed with Crazy Horse at their prime. Everybody Knows this is Nowhere is #1 with me, but all other albums by the Young and crazy horse all run a close 2nd! Zuma (along with all other albums by the same) are a good example of the artist's diversified musical talents, from country-rock to the long Allman Bros jams as proved by Like a Hurricane, Cowgirl in the Sand, Hey hey My

------ About the album Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere performed by Neil Young

irl". But the best one is Cowgirl in the Sand. This one song has a very melodic tune and one of the "heaviest", "hardest" guitar work. That's right, all you young punks who call yourself hard rock nowdays better start over, cause y'all suck compered to the legendary Young/Crazy Horse duo. Don't cry in your teen angst, just being truthful!!! "Down by the river & The Losing end" are both great songs to mellow out with when relaxing on a sunny afternoon. If anyone out there has just discovered or starting liking Neil Young, this is the 1st CD you should buy, with the exception on a "best of" compilation from the 70 and early 80s. I have the LP & CD and have the entire album on my i-pod. Probably one of the few 50 year old's that owns and can actually load music without a teen son or daughter's GO BUY this album / CD !!!

    it's worth "Like a Hurricane" | Reviewer: Mark s
------ About the album American Dream performed by Neil Young

I am a huge fan and own many LPs & CDs by Neil Young. My favorites are with Crazy Horse and have ALL albums that Mr Young and Crazy Horse performed together on. Like a Hurricane is just so typical of the ability the Young/Crazy Horse combo have along with the Allman Bros. They have the ability to carry out a 10 minute or longer jam without making it boring like so many musicians are guilty of. Even if you don't like any other song, buying the entire LP and/orCD just to hear "Like a Hurricane" is worth it!!!! Fantastic song!!!! But as far as entire albums go, Everybody Knows this is Nowhere" & "Zuma" are the top 2 on my list.
