------ About artist/band Neil Diamond
First heard Neil Diamond plenty of years back when a client of mine invited me to hear his record "Hot August Night", the 1972 one . Was hooked from that moment and played Neil's records at every party we ever had. Then there was a lapse, and I never listened to records at all for several years. The other week saw an airing of "Hot August Night" NY on tv. Wow! the guy is better than ever.Just love "Pretty Amazing Grace" so much.I am now catching up on the lost Neil Diamond years. He is a great inspiration for us older guys.
Keep 'em coming Neil.

Last night, I watched the concert 'Hot August Night' on BBC-1 for one hour, and Neil's voice sounds the same as when I saw him in concert in Manchester England in the 1970's.His songs are very moving and inspiring; It's time he had another big hit;keep on keeping on Neil!

------ About the song Hell Yeah performed by Neil Diamond
I was at the concert last year @ MSG, and heard Hell Yeah live. I was so emotional about the entire concert, that Hell Yeah kind of blew by me. After hearing and seeing it again on the CBS special on 8/14/09, I believe I have a new favorite song by my all-time favorite singer. Hell Yeah !!!

------ About the song America performed by Neil Diamond
I love our legal immigrants. By and large, grand people. Our nation can absorb and assimilate these fine folks into being true Americans. However, what with the rate of ILLEGAL immigration to America from the south, encouraged by the Mexican Government, this sounds more like the national anthem of Mexico!

------ About the song Hell Yeah performed by Neil Diamond
I find I have to agree completely with Kris. Hearing all the 'oldies' from Neil was great in this tv special, but this song, "Hell Yeah" was very emotional and made me think of my own life as well as Neil's. Have asked all the same questions as are in the song and I hope when I go I can give the same answer..... Hell Yeah!!!!!

I had no choice but to listen to Neil Diamond growing up because thats what we listened to when we took trips-my father loves Neil Diamond! but he doesnt love him half as much as I do! I feel like I know Neil Diamond personally when i listen to his songs...I have shed a tear or three listening to his songs many times too ;-)
He has inspired me to write and I would be proud to write a song half as good as Neil Diamond's 'brookln roads', 'i am, i said' or 'clouds'!!! thank you for the music!!!

------ About the song America performed by Neil Diamond
I love this song, but neil diamond is such an esstatisical person that i almost feel akward hosting such inferbious music at a social gathering. Constiteritary to my prior knowings, this music was too "mozarty" for me. Thanks for posting the luyrics thanks a lot.
wow i love this song Elton John probally did not have any songs with folk pop kind of beats in the late 1970s but Neil Diamond sure did Forever in Blue Jeans and this song Mothers and Daughters Fathers and Sons

------ About the song America performed by Neil Diamond
For all the grateful first generation immigrants like me, this album is a must have. It is a song of thanks both to God and other Americans who set their foot on this soil before me. Thinking about the opportunities, one cannnnot be thankful enough. Play this song first thing in the morning before heading out the door and let us help each other live up to those dreams that brought us all here. God bless America!
This song should be our national anthem | Reviewer: Anonymous
------ About the song America performed by Neil Diamond
It talks more about the promise of America throughout the world, is easier to sing, is not sung to the tune of an old English drinking song (yep, our current one is!) and doesn't focus on violence - which has sadly been necessary to protect our county, but is not what our nation is about. Time for a 21st century national anthem (sorry Francis Scott Key).

------ About the song Hell Yeah performed by Neil Diamond
This song was an encore in a recent neil Diamond show I saw, and it was so well done. I mean it was great to hear all the old favorites, the songs I grew up with, but this song struck me, and live, it was so emotional. I actually cried. Well done, Neil. Glad to see you're still going strong, and if you ever leave, I'll remember you for sure. Hell yeah.
In Toronto, Canada, we have tribute acts played at the Woodbine Racetrack. During the 2008 Christmas Holidays, Neil Diamond was portraid by a fellow from Nashville. He was the closest to the real thing and brought the house down. Along with a Tom Jones and Rod Stewart tribute by two others. This was the best they have presented to-date. BUT...Neil Diamond was there in spirit and everyone was brought ALIVE by the songs sang. "Forever In Blue Jeans", "Sweet Caroline", "Cracklin Rose" done very well. Thanks Neil for being you.

I just sall Neil for my 12th time in concert and all the years he still sounds the same. I have loved Neil since my young years when he first started and will always love him. He amazes me with his true voice that most singers now would only dream of. The singers or so called entertainers should take notes from this fine man. Neil Keep up the great work and we Love You...

The was the most wonderful concert I have been to, Mr. Diamond was wonderful you would never believe he was 67, he sounded as if he was 20.
Thank you so much for that wonderful performance.
I have a question to ask, Mr. Diamonds drumer. Mr. Ron Tutt, was he with Elvis? The more I watched him he looked just like the drummer that was with Elvis.
Again, Thank you so much, God Bless, all of you.
