A great album by a icon... | Reviewer: Dan-Al Blanc
------ About the album Stones performed by Neil Diamond

What a great album by Mr. Neil Diamond, and again a strange choice of songs, unique in his career. From Leonard Cohen's " Suzanne " with beautiful arrangements to Jacques Brel's rendition of " Ne me quittes pas ", a blessing for the heart and soul. And of course, Neil also composed some of his greatest songs for this album, like the beautiful " I am... I said " and also the title track, " Stones "... It is a must to have in your own record collection, but one thing that I dislike though, no indications of the musicians involved on it which was common to that era and those MOR albums at that time. Only the name of the artist had an importance in those days, and whoever played on them would not see his name printed on the record sleeve, too bad...
