Marilyn Manson My Monkey Lyrics

Last updated: 07/20/2008 11:00:00 AM

I had a little monkey
I sent him to the country and I fed him on gingerbread
Along came a choo-choo, knocked my monkey coo-coo
And now my monkey's dead
At least he looks that way, but then again don't we all
(what I make is what I am, I can't be forever)
I had a little a monkey I sent him to the country and I fed him on
gingerbread
Along came a choo-choo, knocked my monkey coo-coo
And now my monkey's dead
Poor little monkey
'Make you...break you...make you...break you...lookout'
(what I make is what I am, I can't live forever)
We are our own wicked gods
With little g's and big dicks
Sadistic and constantly inflicting a slow demise
I had a little a monkey I sent him to the country and I fed him on
gingerbread
Along came a choo-choo, knocked my monkey coo-coo
And now my monkey's dead
The primate's scream of consonance is a reflection
Of his own mind's dissonance

My monkey. | Reviewer: Ginger Fish | 7/20/2008

I love his music. And I can't believe they didn't know that My monkey origanated as a poem by Charles Manson.

I like StrawBerry Fields too. In the recording I have of it you can hear people booing him.

You obviously dont know as much about him as you think | Reviewer: Justin | 11/8/2007

Because if you did, you would know that the lyrics and name of this song are actually a poem by Charles Manson, which I believe he actually also recorded a musical version of.

Classic | Reviewer: Anti-you | 10/26/2007

This song is just brilliant. There isn't a bad song by Manson and i have all his albums so that just shows you what a talented artist.

Marilyn Manson is a true artist... | Reviewer: KoDi FoReSeE | 10/14/2007

I love every single one of his songs. This is so cheerfully evil. Manson is a true artist, he takes my breath away.
